TRAINING AND DISSEMINATION ON ASSISTANCE AND STUDY OF MARINE MAMMALS 2025 A CORUÑA

CEMMA launches the project of “Training and dissemination on assistance and study of marine mammals”, in its 2025 edition, in collaboration with the Deputation of Coruña, presenting the projects at each call: investments and activities. |

| ACTIVITIES through the call for aid corresponding to the program DP0031: Program of Aid to non-profit entities for the co-financing of projects of activities in the field of the environment during 2025. | ||

The project's main objective is to provide information, materials, and protocols to raise awareness about the need to conserve marine mammals and other endangered marine species, as well as to provide assistance and support to stranded animals. |
||

-Maritime activities: 15 participatory outings were conducted from the ports of Muros and Fisterra; the total number of participants was 103. In addition, three outings for the photo-identification study of rice paddies were conducted from A Coruña, with a reduced group of participants due to the needs of the activity, with a total of five participants. The cetacean images were obtained with authorization from MITECO for cetacean observation for scientific purposes SGBTM/BDM/AUTSPP/20/2025. |
